About Ruckson Construction

Todd Erickson founded Ruckson Construction in 2005 after years of working with other contractors. His construction journey started in the 80's when he was framing houses under the Texas sun in Austin for $2.00/Hr.

 

In 1988, Todd moved back to his family farm and birthplace, Willmar, Minnesota, and began working on the family dairy farm. Carpentry eventually became his sole craft with a specialty in custom log homes. 

 

In 2002, Todd and his family moved to Portland where he transitioned from log homes to remodeling Portland's beautiful craftsmen style homes. Todd would take his kids to job sites from a very young age, teaching them the fundamentals of building and setting in motion the perfect recipe for a family-run business.

 

Today, Ruckson Construction is run by Todd and his son, Liam who has been honing his skills since 2015 and brings fresh insight to projects.
